After a bit of fantastic advice on passive income while job-seeking, I've recently decided to do a few new things with my brand:
First and foremost, I've finally overhauled my website. While I'd redesigned it months ago, I found that the PHP for my gallery wasn't working for Internet Explorer and Firefox, so I had to come up with a different way of showing my gallery. But as of now, I figured that out, and the site is fully functional and designed.
To go along with this newly polished site, I also finally started up an Etsy store. At this point, I have 20 images in stock for made-to-order prints, and I plan on having more of those, as well as more options for customers. If anyone has an image from my gallery they'd like a print of, contact me and I'll get it uploaded for you. I'll also be starting up stock photo sales on various sites, soon, for anyone interested.
Lastly, I'm reviving my YouTube channel that's been more or less dormant for the past year or so. I've decided that I'm going to be doing speedarts and tutorials on art and design. I've learned quite a bit over the past few years, so I thought I might be able to give others some good tips, as well as giving me a reason to constantly be making new art and improving, myself.
A new tutorial should be going live every Friday at 7AM GMT-0400, and I'll be covering programs, as well as design and branding theory. If there are any techniques or tricks you want to know how to do with the Adobe programs, or you want a concept such as DPI or die cutting explained, let me know, and I'll add it to my growing list of ideas for videos! Stop by, give a watch, and don't be shy about leaving your thoughts, especially if it'll help me improve and make the experience better for viewers!
